Ingredients for Wheat Onion Pakoda
- Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
- Onion - 2
- Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander Leaves
- Curry Leaves
- Green Chillies - 4
Preparation of Wheat Onion Pakoda Recipe
Take a bowl. Add wheat flour, chilli powder, cumin powder, chopped curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt.
Mix them well by adding little water. Make a thick batter. (Thicker than dosa batter)
Now slice the onion length wise and add it to batter.
Take a pan and heat oil for deep frying.
Now take a little portion of mixture and add it the hot oil. Do the same for all the batter.
Fry till the pakoda turns golden brown.
Drain the oil and transfer to a serving plate.
Crispy and tasty, Onion Pakoda is ready.
Tips - Wheat Onion Pakoda
Use instant bajji mix instead of wheat flour to make instant onion pakado.
Pakado mix should be in proper consistency (Should not be so thick and so thin).
