Wheat Dosa

"Wheat Dosa" is one of the healthiest breakfast. It is also a instant south Indian dish which is very easy to make.

Ingredients for Wheat Dosa

  • Whole Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
  • Onion - 1 (Finely chopped)
  • Coriander Leaves - 1/4 cup (Finely chopped)
  • Curry leaves - 1/4 cup
  • Rice Flour - 1 cup
  • Curd - 1/4 cup
  • Green Chilies - 2 chopped(If needed)
  • Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil and Salt - Needed

Preparation of Wheat Dosa

Add the rice flour in a bowl and mix it with water and curd.(Dhosa consistency)

Now add the wheat flour , finely chopped Onions and chopped Green Chillies to the rice flour mixture.

Then chopped Curry leaves , chopped Coriander and salt to taste and mix well.

Heat 1 tsp of oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and few curry leaves. Once the mustard seeds got spluttered add this to the wheat and rice flour mixture.

Keep the Mixture aside for an hour.

Now heat the tava and make a dhosa with the mixture we made.

A healthy south Indian special "Wheat Dhosa" is ready to be served with hot sambar or chutney.

Tips - Wheat Dosa

Before pouring dosa batter on tava sprinkle some water and wipe it clean. So that dosa will not stick in tava.
