Ingredients for Thai Coconut Rice
- Thai Jasmine Rice - 2 Cups
- Coconut Milk - 2 Cups
- Water - 1 3/4 Cups
- Dry Coconut - 2 tblsp (Shredded)
- Vegetable Oil or Coconut Oil
Preparation of Thai Coconut Rice Recipe
Wash the rice and keep it aside.
Take a pan. Heat 1 tblsp of oil.
Add washed rice, shredded dry coconut, water and salt to taste.
Reduce the flame to low and cover with a lid let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
Cook until the rice got cooked well.
Transfer to a plate or bowl and break roughly. Garnish with chopped spring onions.
A tasty "Thai Coconut Rice" is ready.
Tips - Thai Coconut Rice Recipe
Use fresh shredded coconuts for garnishing.
If needed we can add red pepper flakes and finely chopped ginger.
