Schezwan Noodles

We are going to make a tasty and spicy at home,"Schezwan Noodles". Noodles is always been a special and most popular dish. We are going to add vegetables to this spicy noodles to make healthy.

Ingredients for Schezwan Noodles

  • Plain Noodles - 1 Pack
  • Water - 5 Cups
  • Schezwan Sauce - 2 tsp
  • Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Spring Onion Greens - 2 tblsp (Chopped)
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Spring Onions - 3(Chopped)
  • Ginger - 1 tsp (Chopped)
  • Garlic - 1 tsp (Chopped)
  • Capsicum - 1
  • Carrot - 1/4 Cup (Chopped)
  • Beans - 1/4 Cup(Chopped)
  • Cabbage - 1/4 Cup (Chopped)
  • Salt - As Required
  • Oil

Preparation of Schezwan Noodles Recipe

Boiling Noodles

Boil 5 cups of water in a pan.

Add 1 tsp of oil and salt needed for noodles.

Then add the noodles and let it boil. Cook the noodles as instructed in pack.

When noodles about to cook turn off the flame and drain the water.

Add a tsp of oil and gently mix them and keep aside.

Preparation of Schezwan Noodles

Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan.

In medium flame, add chopped garlic, ginger and spring onions. Saute them for few minutes.

Increase the flame and add all the vegetables (Carrot, beans, cabbage and capsicum). Mix them well.

Stir them continuously for 8 to 10 minutes.

When the vegetables got half cooked reduce the flame and add schezwan sauce, pepper powder and salt.

Now add the cooked noodles and mix them.

Again increase the flame and stir them until the schezwan sauce got mixed well with noodles.

Now add the vinegar and give a final mix.

Garnish with chopped spring onions.

Very tasty and spicy, "Schezwan Noodles" is ready.

Tips - Schezwan Noodles

We can add any vegetables as you wish like mushrooms, purple cabbages, paneer, cauliflower, etc,..

Adding a tsp of oil after draining the water after cooking noodles will avoid stickiness.
