Ingredients for Samosa
- All Purpose Flour - 1 Cup
- Oil - 2 tblsp
- Potatoes - 3 to 4
- Green Peas - 1/2 Cup
- Green Chillies - 2
- Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - As Needed
- Amchur Powder - 1/2 tsp
Preparation of Samosa Recipe
Take a bowl. Add all purpose flour, 2 tblsp of oil and salt. Mix them.
Add little water and mix the dough.
Keep adding water and mix them. So that the dough becomes soft (Consistency of chappathi dough).
Cover with clean wet cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes.
Boil the potatoes with salt and peel off them and smash them well.
Then boil the green peas and keep aside
Take a pan and heat 2 tsp of oil.
Add smashed potatoes, boiled green peas, finally chopped chillies, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder and salt.
Stir them and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
Add chopped coriander leaves mix them and turn of the flame.
Allow the potato mixture to cool to room temperature.
Now divide the dough into small balls.
Take 1 dough ball and roll into round sheet. Cut them to half.
Now take 1 half of rolled dough and make it as a cone.
Fill the cone with 2 spoons of potato mixture.
Apply some oil on third side of cone and seal the cone.
Take a pan and heat oil.
Deep fry the samosa and cook them for few minutes until it becomes golden brown. Cook on medium flame.
Strain the extra oil and transfer to a serving plate.

Tips - Samosa Recipe
We can add any vegetables like carrot, beans, boiled cauliflower, etc., for making vegetable samosa.
For a tasty paneer samosa, we can add grated paneer.
Serve the hot samosa with green chutney, tomato sauce.
