Ingredients for Sambar Powder
- Dry Red Chilly - 100 grams
- Coriander Seeds - 50 grams
- Cumin - 10 grams
- Pepper - 10 grams
- Asafoetida Powder- A Pinch
- Curry Leaves - Few
Preparation of Sambar Powder Recipe
Take a pan and heat it.
Add all the ingredients one by one. (dry red chillies, coriander seeds, cumin, pepper, asafotida and curry leaves)
Dry roast them in low flame until the raw smell goes off and color changes slightly.
Now let them cool down to room temperature.
Grind them using a blender with out water.
Store it in a air tight container.
Home made , Sambar Powder is ready.
Tips - Sambar Powder
For longer usage do-not use wet spoon.
Be careful on frying, nothing should be burnt.
