Ingredients for Punjabi Rajma
- Rajma - 1 Cup
- Onion - 2
- Tomato - 3
- Ginger - 1 tsp(Chopped)
- Garlic - 1 tsp(Chopped)
- Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
- Bay Leaf - 1
- Water - As Needed
- Salt and Oil - As Required
Preparation of Punjabi Rajma Gravy Recipe
First soak the rajma over night and pressure cook it for 4 to 5 whistle.
Heat 2 tblsp of oil in a pan.
Add bay leaf and chopped onions. Saute them for 3 to 5 minutes until the onion turns golden brown.
Then add chopped ginger and garlic and saute them until the raw smell goes off.
Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix them well.
Add the chopped tomatoes and cook them until the smashes well.
Now add the boiled rajma. Mix them and cook for 10 to 15 minutes in medium flame.
Finally add chopped coriander leaves. Stir them and turn of the flame.
Tasty and spicy "Punjabi Rajma Gravy" is ready for tasting.
