Ingredients for Potato Tortilla
- Potato - 3 to 4 (500 gms)
- Onion - 1
- Eggs - 8
- Speck - 200 gm
- Garlic Cloves - 4
- Black Pepper Powder
- Olive Oil - 1/4 Cup
Preparation of Potato Tortilla Recipe
Take a pan and heat 1 tsp of oil.
Add chopped speck and finely chopped garlic. Saute them for 30 sec until garlic turns brown.
Add finely chopped onion and saute them again for 5 to 8 minutes until the onion becomes soft.
Transfer it to a bowl.
Now in the same pan add the remaining olive oil and sliced potatoes.
Cook them for 20 to 25 minutes. Potatoes should turn into brown and tender.
Take a bowl and add the eggs. Add salt and pepper powder. Beat them well.
Preheat the grill to high.
Now add the onion mixture to the cooked potatoes.
Also pour the beaten eggs. Gently mix them by just shaking the base of the pan. (The eggs should gently spread into potatoes.)
Cook them for another 5 to 8 minutes in low flame.
Turn to other side and let it cook for another 5 minutes in low flame.
Cook them until the mixture got set and golden brown.
Now place the cooked tortilla under the preheated grill and cook for 5 minutes.
Let the tortilla cool and transfer them to a serving plate.
A tasty "Potato Tortilla" is ready for tasting.
