Potato Burritos

"Chili Potato Burritos" is an yummy Mexican special potato main dish. Its a simple recipe which can also be made using leftover mashed potatoes.

Ingredients for Chili Potato Burritos

  • Potatoes - 4 to 5
  • Colby-Monterey Jack Cheese - 1 Cup
  • Chili Powder - 2 tsp
  • Cumin - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 1 Clove
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Flour Tortillas - 8 to 10

Preparation of Chili Potato Burritos Recipe

Take a vessel or pressure cooker. Add potatoes, water and salt.

Boil the potatoes. Drain and peel the potatoes.

Take a bowl and mash the boiled potatoes.

Add 3/4 cup of cheese, ground cumin, ground garlic, chili powder, pepper and salt.

Take a tortillas, spread the potato mixture evenly and roll it. Repeat the process for all the tortillas sheets.

Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.

Place all the rolled tortillas in a grease bake pan.Spread the remaining shredded cheese evenly (If needed).

Bake them for 15 minute.

An enjoyable tasty "Chili Potato Burritos" is ready.

Tips - Chili Potato Burritos Recipe

Use lime juice and fresh cilantro for garnishing.

We can also use the left over potato masal for this recipe.
