Ingredients for Paneer Tikka
- Paneer - 1/4 KG
- Red Capsicum - 1
- Yellow Capsicum - 1
- Green Capsicum - 1
- Big Onion - 1
- Tomato - 1
- Curd - 1 Cup
- Besan Flour - 4 tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
- Chili powder - 2 tbsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
- Garam Masala - 1 tsp
- Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Kasuri Methi - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
- Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
- Carom Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Caraway Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Dry Mango Powder-1tsp
- Lime Juice - 1/2 tsp
Preparation of Paneer Tikka Recipe
First cut the paneer into cubes.
Cut the onion, tomatoes and all colored capsicum as cubes.
Take a bowl and add besan flour, curd, ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Then add all the spice powder one by one.(chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, pepper powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, dry mango powder.
Now add all the herbs one by one (kasuri methi, carom seeds and caraway seeds).
Finally add salt and water.
Mix them to make a batter.
Add the paneer, onions, tomato and capsicums chopped as cubes to the batter and mix well.
Keep them for 1 hour to 3 hours.
Take a tooth pick and arrange the paneer, onions, tomato and capsicums alternatively.
Heat a non-stick griddle or tawa and apply oil on it.
When the oil got enough heat fry the skewered paneer and vegetables on medium flame.
Cook all sides of the paneer tikka by turning the tooth pick.
Fry the for 3 to 5 minutes till the tikka turns golden brown.
Transfer the paneer tikka to the serving plate and sprinkle chaat masala with lime juice.
