Ingredients for Nawabi Paneer Gravy
- Paneer - 1 Cups
- Onion - 2
- Tomatoes - 2
- Green Chilli - 2
- Ginger-Garlic Paste - 3 tsp
- Cashews - 7 to 8
- Curd - 4 to 5 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder - 3 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Clove - 3
- Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Kasoori Methi - 1/4 tsp
Preparation of Nawabi Paneer Gravy Recipe
First cut the paneer as cubes.
Fry them in oil until the paneer turns golden brown.
Take a bowl. Add fried paneer cubes, 1 tsp red chilli powder, salt, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala and 1 tsp of curd.
Allow the marination to rest for 20 minutes.
Soak the cashews in hot water for 20 minutes.
Take a blender and grind the soaked cashews with curd to make a smooth paste.
Take a pan and heat oil or butter.
Add bay leaf, clove, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds. Let them fry for few seconds.
Add finely chopped onions, green chillies and saute them until the onion turns golden brown.
Now add ginger-garlic paste. Again saute them until the raw smell goes off.
Then add the tomato puree and saute them until the tomatoes mix well with onion mixture.
Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt and cook them for 5 to 7 minutes until the raw smell goes off.
Add the marinated paneer and mix them well. Cook them for 3 to 4 minutes.
Finally add the cashew paste and kasoori methi. Mix them and turn off the flame.
Rich and tasty side dish recipe, "Green Peas Gravy" is ready.
