Mushroom Biryani

Ingredients for Mushroom Biryani

  • Rice - 2 Cup
  • Mushroom – 1 Cup
  • Big Onion - 4 (chopped)
  • Tomatoes - 2 (chopped)
  • Ginger and Garlic Paste – 2 spoon
  • Chilly Powder – 1 and 1/2 spoon
  • Coriander Powder – 3 spoon
  • Salt – As needed
  • Corianders 1/4 cup (Finely chopped)
  • Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
  • Curd - 1/4 cup
  • Chilies – 6 Nos chopped
  • Oil and Salt - Needed
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cardamom -1
  • Cinnamon -small piece

Preparation of Mushroom Biryani Recipe :

Heat the oil in a cooker.

Add all the seasoning (Cloves , Cardamom, Cinnamon ) and statue them well.

Now, cut the Chilies into two add them to the oil.

Once the raw smell goes away, add the mint leaves and Corianders .

Now, add the vertically chopped onions and statue them till it turns to golden brown.

Then, add the Finely chopped tomatoes and mix them well.

Add the ginger garlic paste mix well till the raw smell disappears.

Now, add the chilly powder, Corianders Powder and salt to taste.

Add our main ingredients chopped “Mushrooms”.

Add ¼ cup curd add mix them for 2 to 4 minutes till the oil gets separate.

Now, add the 2 cup rice to the mixture and 4 and ½ cup water.

Finally close the cooker and pressure cook for 3 whistles.

Tips for a tasty Mushroom biryani

Soak the rice for 15 minutes for a well cooked biryani.
