Ingredients for Mexican Sour Cream Rice
- Rice - 1 cup
- Sour Cream - 1 Cup
- Chicken Broth - 2 Cup
- Green Chilies - 4 to 5
- Monterey Jack cheese - 1 Cup
- Con Kernels - 1/2 Cup
- Cilantro - 1/2 Cup
- Oil - 2 tblsp
- Salt
Preparation of Mexican Sour Cream Rice Recipe
In a large vessel, add chicken broth and rice. Bring it to boil in low flame for 20 minutes.
Add chopped green chilies, sour cream, 1/2 cup shredded cheese, corn kernels, cilantro and salt. Mix them.
Cook them for 3 to 5 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degree F. Grease the casserole dish.
Transfer the cooked rice to the casserole dish and spread the remaining cheese.
Bake it for 20 to 30 minutes until the cheese becomes fluffy and brown.
