Ingredients for Kambu Idli
- Kambu - 3 Cup
- Urad Dal - 1/2 Cup
- fenugreek - 1/2 tsp
Preparation of Kambu Idli Recipe
Wash the kambu and urad dal.
Soak the kambu, urad dal and fenugreek for 8 to 12 hours.
Grind them with enough water to make a smooth paste (dosa batter consistency).
Add salt and mix them well. Allow them for settle in rest for 8 hours.
Take a idli making plates and grease them with little oil.
Steam the idlis for 10 to 15 minutes. After removing from flame leave it for 5 minutes.
Transfer the hot idlis to a serving plate. Serve with hot sambar and chutney.
Our traditional and healthy, Kambu Idli is ready.
Tips - Kambu Idli
Be careful on adding water while grinding batter it should not become so water.
