Ingredients for Kadai Mushroom
- Mushroom - 1 Cup (Chopped)
- Capsicum - 2 (Chopped)
- Big Onion - 2 to 3
- Tomato - 2
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tblsp
- Garam masala powder - 1 tblsp
- Fresh Cream - 3 tblsp
- Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Kasuri Methi - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Leaves
- Fennel - 1 tsp
- Dry Red Chillies - 2 to 3
- Coriander Seeds - 2 tsp
Preparation of Kadai Mushroom Recipe
First take a pan. Fry the dry red chillies and coriander seeds.
Grind the fried dry red chillies and coriander seeds and keep aside.
Take a pan and heat 2 tsp of oil. Add fennel.
Add the finely chopped onions and saute them well till the onions turns brown.
Then add the spice powder and mix well.
Add the finely chopped tomatoes and saute them well.
Then add the ginger garlic paste. Saute them till the raw smell goes off.
Then add the red chili powder, garam masala powder and salt. Mix them all together well.
Add the chopped onions cubes, capsicums cubes and mushrooms.
Add some water and let it boil till the vegetables and mushroom cooks well.
Finally add fresh cream and kasuri Methi. Mix them well.
Serve the "Kadai Mushroom" with hot fried rice.
Tips - Kadai Mushroom Recipe
Kadai Mushroom goes well with fried rice, ghee rice, chapattis even with plain rice.
We can even fry the onion and capsicum cubes before adding to the gravy.
For more colorful gravy add three colors of capscicum.
For garnishing add ginger slices.
