Ingredients for Corn Cutlet
- Corn Kernels - 1 Cup
- Bread Slices- 5
- Onion - 3
- Fennel Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Bread Crumbs
- Mint Leaves - 1 tblsp (Chopped)
- Coriander Leaves - 1 tblsp (Chopped)
- Green Chilies - 4
- Ginger - 1/2 inch
Preparation of Corn Cutlet Recipe
First corn kernels till it become soft and let it cool.
When the boiled corn kernels got cool down, grind them and add it to a bowl.
Grind the green chilies and ginger to a smooth paste and keep it aside.
Now take a pan and heat oil.
Add fennel seeds and finely chopped onions. Saute them until the onions turn golden brown.
Add green chilie paste and mix them well.
Now add corn paste and saute them well.
Then add all the dry powders (coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt). Mix them well.
Finally, add the chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves.
Transfer the corn mixture to a bowl and let it cool to room temperature.
Then take the bread slices remove the edges and soak it to water.
Squeeze the extra water from soaked bread slices and add them to corn mixture. Mix them well.
Now take a small portion of corn mixture and form it to cutlet shape.
Spread it to bread crumbs.
Heat oil in a pan.
Deep fry the cutlet until it turns golden brown.
Then transfer to a serving plate.
