Ingredients for Bhel Puri

  • Puffed Rice - 2 Cups
  • Fine Sev - 1/2 Cup
  • Onion - 1 Cup
  • Tomato - 1
  • Potatoes - 1 Cup
  • Small Poories - 8 to 10
  • Green Chutney - 2 to 3 tblsp
  • Lime Juice - 1 tblsp
  • Date Chutney - 1/4 Cup
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt

Preparation of Bhel Puri Recipe

First wash the potatoes and add it in vessel.

Add water and salt. Let it boil well until the potatoes cooks well and becomes soft.

Peel off the boiled potatoes and smash them slightly or chop them as cubes.

Take a big bowl.

Add puffed rice, sev, finely chopped onions, finely chopped tomatoes, boiled potatoes, green chutney, dates chutney, 2 to 3 broken poories and salt.

Mix them well.

Transfer to a serving plate to bowl and add some more lime juice, sev and broken poories.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

A tasty and excellent chat item, "Bhel Puri" is ready.

Tips - Bhel Puri Recipe

To make dates chutney, cook the dates and grind them them combine some powdered ginger.

Add boiled green peas and boiled chennas for a different taste.

We can add dry fruits like cashews, dry grapes etc.,
