Ingredients for Rava Kesari
- Ravai / Semolina - 1 Cup
- Sugar - 2 Cups
- Ghee - 1 Cup
- Cashew nuts
- Dry Grapes
- Cardamom - 3
- Water - 3 Cups
- Kesari Powder - A Pinch
Preparation of Rava Kesari Recipe
Take a pan and dry roast the rava for a minute until the rava slightly heats. Transfer the roasted rava to a bowl.
Heat a tbls of ghee. Roast the cashew nuts and dry grapes. Transfer to a separate bowl.
Add the remaining ghee and add roasted rava. Fry them for 2 to 3 minutes.
Now boil the water and add it to the rava. Stir them continuously in low flame.
Add a pinch of kesari powder. Stir them well until the water evaporates completely.
Now add sugar and mix them well. The sugar will melt.
Cook them until the kesari got proper consistency.(Should not stick on the pan)
Finally add the cardamom powder, roasted cashew nuts and dry fruits. Mix them.
Transfer the kesari to a serving plate.

Tips - Rava Kesari
We can add saffron for more rich and colorful sweet recipe.
