Ingredients for Mysore Pak
- Besan Flour / Kadala mavu - 1/2 Cup
- Sugar - 1 and 1/2 Cup
- Ghee - 1 Cup
- Oil - 1/4 tsp
Preparation of Mysore Pak Recipe
First take a tray and greased ready.
Take a heavy bottomed pan and add sugar. Add enough water the sugar should get immerse (approximately 1/2 to 3/4 cup water).
Boil it until we get string consistency.
When we get the string consistency add the flour slowly and mix it continuously.
Mix it continuously in low flame.
Heat ghee in another pan.
Add the hot ghee part by part to the besan flour mixture and mix them continuously.
At one time the raw smell will disappears and the color will be changed.
Also the mixture will get a proper consistency so that it will not stick to the pan.
Once we get the proper consistency pour it to the greased tray.
Cut them into desired shape once it hot and take the pieces and store in a bowl once it comes to room temperature.
Our tasty and traditional, Mysore Pak is ready for Diwali celebration.
Tips - Mysore Pak
If you check the sugar syrup between your fingers, a string should be formed.
Take the correct measurements of flour, sugar and ghee to get the soft mysore pak.
