Ingredients for Carrot Halwa
- Carrot – (grated)2 Cups
- Milk – 2 Cups
- Sugar – 1/2 Cup
- Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
- Rice Floor – 1 cup
- Ghee – 3 to 4 tsp
- Cashew Nuts (As Needed)
Preparation of Carrot Halwa Sweet
Take a heavy bottomed pan and heat 3 tsp of ghee.
Fry the Cashew Nuts and keep aside.
Add the grated carrot to the ghee and stir it for 5 min minutes in medium flame.
Now, add the milk and stir continuously till the carrot cook half way.
When the milk gets reduces half the way, add to 1 to 2 tsp of ghee and stir them continuously till the carrot got cooked well.
Now, add sugar and stir them well.
Add the cardamom powder.
Stir continuously on a low flame till the mixture starts to thicken and reduce more.
Stir at intervals.
Add the tried Cashew towards the end and mix till the milk evaporates completely.
Cook until the halwa came to thick consistency and it should not stick on pan.
Finally, our tasty and simple "Carrot Halwa" is ready.
Tips - Carrot Halwa
We can serve the carrot halwa hot or even you can refrigerate it and serve chilled.
We can also use milkmaid for different taste.
