Ingredients for Bread Gulab Jamun
- Bread Slices - 6 to 7
- Milk - 1 Cup
- Sugar - 1 Cup
- Cardamom - 3 to 4
- Rose Water - few drops
- Water - 1/2 Cup
Preparation of Bread Gulab Jamun Sweet
First to make the sugar syrup take a heavy bottomed vessel and add 1/2 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar.
Let the sugar dissolves and boil it in low flame for 10 to 15 minutes or until the you get the slightly sticky sugar syrup.
Once you got the stickiness add the crushed cardamom and rose water.Turn off the flame.
Now take the bread slices and cut off the rims that is the brown crust edges.
Dip the trimmed bread slices in milk.
Now Squeeze the dipped bread to extract the excess milk.
Blend the squeezed bread slices.
Now make small balls using the bread paste.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the bread ball in low flame until it turn golden brown.
Finally add the fried bread balls to the sugar syrup. Let it stay for 2 hour so that the balls will absorb the sugar syrup.
After 2 hours transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped almonds or cashews.
An easy and tasty sweet, "Bread Gulab Jamun" is ready.
Tips - Bread Gulab Jamun
We can even add a pinch for saffrons in sugar syrup for getting a rich and colorful sweet.
Add sweet less kova while blending the bread slices for more different taste.
