Ingredients for Tomato Soup
- Tomato - 4
- Small onion - 1
- Garlic Cloves - 3
- Bay Leaf - 1
- Butter - 1 to 2 tsp
- Corn Starch - 1 tsp
- Cream - 1 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder - As Needed
- Salt - As Needed
- Bread Slices - 2
Preparation of Indian Tomato Soup Recipe
Wash the tomatoes and keep aside.
Take a saucepan or a large vessel and fill it with enough water as the tomatoes should get immersed in water.
Now boil the water well add 1 tsp of salt.
The water should get rolling boiling point.
Now add the tomatoes and wait for a minute and turn of the flame and close the saucepan for 30 to 40 minutes.
Take a frying pan and toast the bred slices till it gets crispy.
Once the bread turns brown and crispy cut the roasted bread as cubes.
Drain the tomatoes and peal off them.
Grind the tomatoes as smooth paste and keep aside.
Take a ts of corn floor and mix it with 3 to 4 tsp of water and keep aside.
Now, Take another pan and heat a tsp of butter.
Add 1 bay leaf and saute them for 5 to 7 sec.
Then add the finely chopped garlic and saute them .
Now, add chopped onions and saute them till it turn golden brown.
Pour the tomato puree and mix well.
Now, add water as required, salt and pepper powder and mix them well.
Add the corn and water mixture and allow them to boil for another 5 to 7 minutes till the soup gets thick.
Add a pinch of sugar and a tsp of cream and stir them.
Pour the hot tomato sou[ into a bowl and add the roasted bread cubes.
Our tasty Indian style "Tomato Soup" is ready.

We can garnish the Tomato soup with parsley or coriander leaves.
