Palak Soup

Palak contains good amount of B-Complex and anti-oxidants. Also its a good source of omega-3 fatty acids which is good for health. Let us make a healthy and also a tasty soup recipe using palak, "Palak Soup".

Ingredients for Palak Soup

  • Palak - 1 Bunch
  • Onion - 1 (Chopped)
  • Garlic - 2 to 3 (Chopped)
  • Corn Flour - 2 tblsp
  • Milk - 1/2 Cup
  • Fresh Cream - 2 to 3 tblsp
  • Butter - 2 tblsp
  • Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt

Preparation of Palak Soup Recipe

Heat a pan and add butter.

Once the butter melts, add chopped garlic and onions. Saute them for 3 to 5 minutes until the onion turns transplant.

Now add the washed and chopped palak. Saute them for another 1 to 2 minutes.

Turn off the flame and let it cool.

Then grind them to make a smooth paste.

Take a bowl. Add milk and corn flour. Mix them well with out lumps.

Take a sauce pan.

Add palak puree, salt and corn flour mixture. Let it boil for 2 to 3 minutes.

Finally add fresh cream. Mix them and turn off the flame.

Transfer the hot soup to a serving bowl and garnish with pepper powder and fresh cream.

Our healthy and tasty, "Palak Soup" is ready.

Tips - Palak Soup

We can even add grated cheese or paneer for garnishing.

Add cumin powder and a bay leaf while sauteing palak for a different taste.
