Ingredients for Chicken Soup

  • Chicken - 1/4 Kg
  • Onions - 2 Finely Chopped
  • Tomato - 1/4 Cup
  • Green Chilli - 1
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder - 1 to 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - 1/4 Cup
  • Curry Leaves - Few
  • Gingely Oil - 2 tsp
  • Fennel Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - As Needed

Preparation of Indian Chicken Soup Recipe

Wash the chiken well and add it to a sauce pan or pressure cooker.

Add 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, black papper powder, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, chopped tomato, coriander powder and mix them.

Also add the coriander leaves, curry leaves, 2 cups of water and salt to taste.

Cook them for 15 to 20 minutes.

Take another pan and heat a tsp of gingely oil.

Add fennel seeds and chopped green chilli.

Now, add chopped onions and saute them till it turn golden brown.

Pour the boiled chicken stock to them and heat them for 5 to 10 minutes in low flame.

Turn off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves and pepper powder.

Our spicy and tasty Indian style "Chicken Soup" is ready.

Tips - Chicken Soup Recipe

We can also add a tsp of lemon juice while serving the chicken soup.
