Ingredients for Stovetop Lasagna
- Lasagna Noodles - 1/2 Cup
- Ground Meatloaf - 1 Cup
- Tomato Sauce - 2 cups
- Baby Spinach - 3 Cups
- Red Pepper Flakes - 1/4 tsp
- Mozzarella Cheese - 1 Cup
- Parmesan Cheese - 5 tblsp
- Ricotta Cheese - 1/3 Cup
- Fresh Basil - 1/4 Cup
Preparation of Stovetop Lasagna Recipe
Preheat a broiler. Take a large pot and boil water with salt.
Add noodles to the boiling water. Once the noodles cooked well transfer to a cutting board and cut them to half.
Take another large pan and heat oil.
Add ground meat and cook them until they become golden brown.
Then add tomato sauce and red pepper flakes. Cook them for another 5 minutes on simmer flame.
Now add spinach, and cook until the spinach becomes soft.
Add ricotta cheese and salt. Mix them and remove from heat.
Take a bowl and add mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Just toss them.
Take a baking pan or flat pan and cover the pan with cooked noodles.
As a second layer spread the half of the meat mixture and then add the mixture of cheese.
Make another layer of noodles followed by meat mixture and cheese.
Finally drizzle with olive oil and cook them until it turns golden brown and fluffy.
