Ingredients for Schezwan Fried Rice
- Basmathi Rice – 1 Cup
- Carrot – 1 (Finely chopped)
- Onion – 1 Cup (Finely chopped)
- Beans – 10 (Finely chopped)
- Green peas – ½ cup (Boiled)
- Spring Onions – 1 (Finely chopped)
- Capsicum – 2 (Finely chopped)
- Garlic and ginger paste – 1 table spoon
- Chicken – 1 Cup
- Schezwan Sauce - 2 tblsp
- Spring Onions
- Black Pepper
- Ghee or Oil
Preparation of Schezwan Fried Rice Recipes
Boil the basmathi rice and keep it aside.
Clean the chicken and boil with salt. Keep it aside.
Add oil or ghee and finely chopped onions to it.
Add spring onions and mix well.
Now, add ginger garlic paste mix well until the raw smell clears.
Add the boiled chicken and mix them well. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes.
Then, add the finely vegetables (Carrot, Beans, Green peas, capsicum) ad mix well.
Now, add eggs (optional) and salt to taste and mix well.
Add schezwan sauce, pepper powder mix well , allow the mixture to cook well.
Once the raw smell goes off, add the cooked rice to the mixture.
Server hot and spicy Chinese "Schezwan Fried Rice".
Tips - Schezwan Fried Rice Recipe
We can add eggs for schezwan egg fried rice or we can add mushrooms which gives us tasty schezwan mushroom fried rice. Don't over cook the rice and always drain the rice completely.
