Ingredients for Mutton Pepper Fry
- Mutton - 1/2 KG
- Onions - 4
- Tomatoes - 3
- Pepper Powder - 2 tblsp
- Green Chillies - 2
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tblsp
- Cumin Powder - 1 tblsp
- Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tblsp
- Cloves - 2
- Cinnamon - 1
- Bay Leaves - 1
- Curry Leaves - Few
- Coriander Leaves
Preparation of Mutton Pepper Fry Recipe
First wash mutton pieces well.
Take a pressure cooker. Add mutton pieces, turmeric powder and salt.
Add water. Pressure cook them for 8 to 10 whistles.
Now take another pan and heat oil.
Add cinnamon stick, cloves, bay leaf and curry leaves. Stir them for 1 to 2 minutes.
Add onions and stir them well until the onion turns golden brown.
Now add finely chopped tomatoes and ginger-garlic paste. Saute them well for 4 to 7 minutes.
Then add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix them and cook for 2 to 4 minutes.
Add boiled mutton and add some water. Stir them until the water evaporates completely and oil comes out in sides of pan.
Finally add pepper powder and chopped coriander leaves. Stir them and turn of the flame.
Spicy Mutton Pepper Fry is ready for lunch.
Tips - Mutton Pepper Fry
Serve the mutton fry with onion slices and lemon slice.
