Ingredients for Mutton Kola Urandai
- Minced Mutton - 1/4 KG
- Egg - 4
- Small Onions - 8 to 10
- Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
- Roasted Gram - 100 grams
- Green Chillies - 5
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tblsp
- Ginger - 1/4 Inch
- Garlic Cloves - 8 to 10
- Poppy seeds - 1 tsp
- Coriander Leaves
- Curry Leaves
Preparation of Mutton Kola Urandai Recipe
First wash the minced mutton well.
Grind the roast gram to fine powder.
Take pan and dry roast the gram and poppy seeds separately and keep them aside.
In a blender, add minced mutton, poppy seeds, cumin, ginger, garlic and fennel seeds.
Grind them without water.
Take a bowl. Add mutton paste and finely chopped onion, chopped green chillies , chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves.
Also add roasted gram powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Mix the whole mixture well and make small balls.
Take another bowl and add eggs in it.
In a pan and heat oil for deep frying the kolas.
Now take a ball and dip in the egg and deep fry the balls.
Fry them until the mutton balls cooks well and turns brown.
Transfer the fried balls to serving plate.
Spicy and tasty chettinadu special, Mutton Kola Balls is ready.

We can add grated coconut and chopped cashew nuts for some different taste.
