Ingredients for Baida Roti
- Wheat Flour / Maida - 1 Cup
- Eggs - 8 to 10
- Chicken mince - 1 Cup
- Baking Powder- 1/8 tsp
- Onion - 1
- Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tblsp
- Tomatoes - 2
- Green Chillies - 2
- Turmeric Powder - a pinch
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tsp
Preparation of Baida Roti Recipe
Take a bowl. Add wheat flour / Maida, baking powder, salt, 2 tsp oil and 1 Egg.
Add enough water and mix well to make a soft dough. (Chappati consistency)
Divide the dough into small equal balls. Roll out the ball to square or circle rotis.
Take another bowl and add remaining eggs. Beat them well.
Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan.
Add finely chopped onions and saute them well.
Then add ginger garlic paste and saute for another minute.
Now add the finely chopped tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt.
Saute them till the raw smell goes off.
Add the chicken mince and mix them well. Sprinkle some water and allow the chicken to cook.
Once the chicken cooks turn off the flame.
Take another pan and add 1 tsp of oil.
Place the rolled roti on it and cook each side of roti for 2 minutes.
Now pour some beaten eggs on one side of roti and cook for 1 minutes. Flip the roti and cook for another 1 minutes.
Place some portion of cooked chicken mince in center of the roti and fold the sides and make a square or round packet.
Pour some more beaten egg over it. Flip and sprinkle some more oil.
Cook each sides till the roti turns golden brown.
Cut the "Baida Roti" as your wish and serve the tasty rotis with tomato sauce or green chutney.
Tips - Baida Roti Recipe
We can also make this recipe with left over chappatis.
Instead of maida we can use wheat flour for a healthy roti.
