Ingredients for Lemon Bars Recipe
- All-Purpose Flour - 2 Cups
- Sugar - 2 Cups
- Butter - 1 Cup
- Eggs - 4
- Lemon Juice - 1/4 Cup
- Lemon Zest - 2 tblsp
- Baking Powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - A Pinch
Preparation of Lemon Bars
Take a bowl. Add 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and butter.
Mix them all well until all ingredients combines together.
Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.
Take a baking pan and grease it with butter.
Pour the flour mixture into the baking pan. Spread evenly and bake it for 15 minute.
Take a bowl and beat eggs well.
Take another bowl. Add 1 and 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, beaten eggs, 1/4 cup flour, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
Beat them well until the mixture becomes smooth.
Pour the lemon mixture over the baked crust.
Bake them again for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven.
Finally sprinkle with powdered sugar while the bars are hot.
Let it cool and cut into bars.
A delicious "Lemon Bars" are ready.

Use fresh lemon juice for best result.
