Ingredients for Flan

  • Sugar - 2 Cups
  • Eggs - 7
  • Condensed Milk - 2 Cups
  • Milk - 1 Cup
  • Vanilla - 1 tsp

Preparation of Flan Recipe

Preheat oven to 300 degree F.

Heat a pan. Add 1 cup sugar and stir it continuously in medium flame.

Sugar should melts and becomes brown. Stir them for 15 minutes sugar will become caramel.

Add the sugar caramel to a casserole pan or on each ramekins..

Take a large bowl, add the eggs and sugar. Beat them well.

Add Milk and vanilla extract Beat them again.

Then add the condensed milk and beat them again until the mixture gets soft and fluffy.

Pour the cake mixture over the caramel added on casserole pan.

Take a large baking dish, add water for about 1 to 2 inch.

Place the casserole or ramekins dish on the baking pan with hot water.

Bake the cake for 45 minutes. The cake should get bakes well. Check with a knife if we insert a knife to the flame it should come out clean.

Let the cake cools complete on room temperature and keep them on refrigerator for 1 hour.
