Ingredients for Carrot Kheer Navratri Sweet
- Carrot - 4 Cups (Grated)
- Sugar - 8 to 9 Cups
- Milk - 6 Cups
- Dry Grapes
- Ghee - 3 to 4 tsp
- Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Saffron - A Pinch
Preparation of Carrot Kheer Dessert Recipe
First Wash, Peal off the carrots and Grate them.
Heat a tsp of ghee and fry the cashewnuts and dry grapes separately and keep aside.
Take a heavy bottomed pan and heat 3 tsps of ghee.
Now add the grated carrots and stir them well.
Stir the carrots well till the raw smell goes off (About 5 to 7 minutes).
Then add the milk and mix them and allow it to boil and cook them for another 10 to 15 minutes.
Now, add the sugar and mix it well, the sugar will starts melt.
Cook them for another 12 to 15 minutes in low flame.
Add the crushed cardamom powder and turn off the flame.
Finally, add the fried cashewnuts and dry grapes and mix them.
